What is CRP - Continous Replishment Program?

CRP (Continous Replishment Program) is a continuous replenishment program - the basis for supporting the effective consumption response strategy (ECR - Effecent Cosumer Reponse) - a well-known strategy of Supply Chain Management in processing food. Unlike material resource requirements planning (MRP) and DRP, a specific time limit for scheduling a plan does not exist. In other words, the product is only replenished as necessary for the actual quantity sold, with no specific order points or batch size estimates. We can think of CRP as a method of water supply in this way: water will be supplied from a tank when needed, we only turn on the faucet when the water level drops to the required level.
